USATF NC Member,

The USATF North Carolina  Endurance Magazine Championship Series will soon begin its eighth year! It ties seven of the top races in North Carolina, spanning the state from the beaches to the mountains and distances from the mile to the marathon, to ultimately crown the USATF North Carolina - Endurance Magazine Long Distance Runners of the Year.  This year’s series features more than $20,000 in prize money spread over the seven race series.

The Runners of the Year, both male and female overall and male and female masters, are determined by totaling points earned in a system that gives the most points to race winners, and fewer points to second- and third-place finishers.

The series kicks off on March 16th in Wrightsville Beach with the Quintiles Wrightsville Beach Half Marathon presented by Landfall Realty.  Competitors can look forward to a point-to-point, very flat, fast course that is spectator friendly.   Each competitor and their supporters can take full advantage of all the fun offered by this world famous beach destination and a huge post race party.  USATF NC Prize Money is offered to the top 3 open and top 3 masteres men and women.  Visit http://www.wrightsvillebeachmarathon.com for more information.
