On Wednesday, June 21, USATF will make two exciting announcements of interest to Associations.
USATF will unveil our new,
Team USATF concept that connects USATF members around the country with the USATF National Team. We are all members of Team USATF!
Team USATF will be a key vehicle for Associations to more effectively market your membership efforts, especially to young people. The mark complements (and does not replace) the federation's official USATF corporate mark, which is used in official business materials and merchandise.
Team USATF will be featured on a range of digital membership collateral and merchandise, with efforts ramping up as the 2017-2018 membership campaign begins in earnest this fall. Included in the Team USATF campaign:
-
A dynamic, new Membership landing page
-
New digital, Members-Only Team USATF benefits including a 2016 Yearbook, Team USATF Posters and Athlete Autograph cards
-
Fresh, new promotional materials for Associations to use in membership efforts, with clear messaging on the reasons for and benefits of membership
-
USATF will sell a limited edition Team USATF T-shirt in Sacramento and at the Junior Olympics as well as Team USATF Lapel Pins
Also on June 21, USATF will launch our fundraising campaign with the American Cancer Society. Featuring a public service announcement with two-time Olympic gold medalist Christian Taylor and 2014 USATF indoor champion Gabe Grunewald, herself a cancer survivor,
Together: Nothing Is Impossible encourages Americans to pledge money for each medal Team USATF wins at the IAAF World Championships this August in London. The American Cancer Society will receive 75 percent of the proceeds for cancer research, and 25 percent will be directed to support Team USATF's athlete development programs. Be on the lookout for full details on both announcements on Wednesday!
