Dear members,
USATF is pleased to be partnering with the U.S. Center for SafeSport a second time to offer live, in-person group training sessions at the 2019 USATF Annual Meeting in Reno, NV, December 5-8.
Friday, December 6 from 7:00AM - 9:50AM in Carson 2
Friday, December 6 from 6:00PM - 8:50PM in Nevada 7
Saturday, December 7 from 7:00AM - 9:50AM in Nevada 3
USATF was notified by the U.S. Center for SafeSport that any USATF member who completed training outside of a rolling, two-year window is required to renew their SafeSport training by completing the Core SafeSport Training on safesport.org. If you are in a role within USATF that requires you to be USATF 3-Step SafeSport Compliant, you can take advantage of this in-person opportunity at Annual Meeting to satisfy this training requirement.
In addition to these training sessions during USATF Annual Meeting, the U.S. Center for SafeSport will present to association and youth constituents in breakout sessions where audiences will have an opportunity to learn from a representative from the U.S. Center for SafeSport and ask questions. Individuals are encouraged to take advantage of these free trainings and breakout sessions, if possible. Any questions or concerns should be directed to safesport@usatf.org.
We look forward to bringing the U.S. Center for SafeSport to USATF's Annual Meeting, as we continue to create a safe and healthy environment in which our athletes can train and compete.
